Company Introduction

PT Pengembangan Jarak will concentrate on planting – growing –extracting – trading. Instead of the full supply chain, PT Pengembangan Jarak will take harvested seeds through crushing and pre-processing, and then deliver the crude Jatropha Curcas oil to both, domestic and export customers. In Indonesia, Contract Farming will also become a part of PT Pengembangan Jarak as a means of guaranteeing local farmers a secured income. The starting point will be in West Timor, where the climate and man power conditions are more than suitable.

 

Facilities

The facilities of PT Pengembangan Jarak lie at Oesau, where we established a nursery with output capacity of initially 100 ha per month, in a second step this will be increased up to 300 ha per month. Due to the first mover advantage we will become one of the major contract farmers in this area. PT Pengembangan Jarak is currently negotiating the acquisition of additional land with the local government.
