Curcas Oil N.V. has been established to capitalize on the opportunity presented by the domestic socio-economic, agricultural and climatic conditions in Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines in order to produce Jatropha seeds as an alternative energy crop for use as a biofuel feedstock in a responsible and sustainable manner.

Based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Curcas Oil N.V. operates through its subsidiaries in Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. 

 

 

 

 

Curcas Oil N.V. is not only cultivating Jatropha plants itself, but employing Contract Farming techniques in Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines as a method to support and improve the economic situation of local farmers.

Due to its extensive range of experience and contacts to investors interested in alternative energy, as well as to local governments, Curcas Oil N.V. offers consulting services within the area of cultivating Jatropha, and enters into Joint Ventures and invests  in companies involved in the same field of business.

Roll Out

The initial start up plantation of Curcas Oil N.V. and its subsidiaries in Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, consists of 1,000 ha by the summer of 2009.
