Curcas Oil N.V. has invested in customized Jatropha Press/ oil extraction machinery sourced from a respected German industrial manufacturer because we recognize that the quality and reliability of our oil extraction equipment will be crucial to the long-term success and profitability of our company.
Installation of all oil extraction equipment is managed on-site by the manufacturer to ensure the good working order and optimization of the machinery.
Our Jatropha Press/ oil extraction equipment is specifically optimized for the crushing of Jatropha seeds and utilizes a serial system of independently rotating screws to enhance overall oil extraction. The machinery’s rotating screws are uniquely designed to extract the oil from the seeds as each seed is gradually crushed into smaller and smaller pieces.
The company recognizes, however, that our oil extraction efficiency is only as good as our manufacturing processes and the skill level of our press operators. Curcas Oil N.V.’s factory managers and personnel receive special training and instruction on oil extraction methods and techniques to maximize the amount oil produced from each Jatropha seed.
Curcas Oil N.V.estimates that our overall oil extraction efficiency may be as much as five to seven percent higher through careful equipment, personnel and process management versus a standard operating Jatropha oil factory. This will allow Curcas Oil N.V. to gain a key competitive advantage to improve overall company performance.
